With a bit of apprehension, I started journaling my daily life with The Positive Planner. Almost two weeks later, I can tell you it made a world of difference for me. Every morning I grab my Positive Planner and do the little exercises or simply map out what I want my day to be like, what I should do, y self-care idea for the day... And it really helped me so far. Every evening, I am in my PJs and reviewing the day while comfortably laying in bed.
Versatile, you can also completely customise it, color it, stick pictures and notes in it! (I added plenty of flower petals & watercolours!)
My PTSD is still there of course, but it's alleviated by this little ritual of me journaling my emotions no matter how fast and varied they are. The journal helps you identify your triggers, your fears (and sometimes they are not the fears you think you have) & also your good points, your qualities, your worth.
I do not feel shamed by this journal, but rather understood and welcome. There is no judgement, only support ! I truly didn't expect to like this journey, yet I'm always looking forward the next day and what I will have to write down! I sleep better, and I am also able to do my daily tasks with more clarity and confidence.
